Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy Grant Awardees


Congratulations to the 25 recipients of the Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy grant!

The Oklahoma State Department of Education will allocate a total of $20,192,088 to districts over the next three years. The purpose of the Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (OSRCL) grant is to support districts in developing the structures necessary for literacy acquisition from birth to grade 12. Grant recipients range from districts of fewer than 700 students to districts with 5,000 or more students.

  • Madill Public Schools
  • Maryetta Public Schools
  • Oklahoma City Public Schools
  • Pawhuska Public Schools
  • Porter Consolidated Public Schools
  • Putnam City Public Schools
  • Ripley Public Schools
  • Stigler Public Schools
  • Tahlequah Public Schools
  • Tulsa Public Schools
  • Union Public Schools
  • Wright City Public Schools
  • Wynona Public Schools

The Oklahoma State Department of Education received supplementary grant funds for Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (OSRCL). Receipients of these funds will have the opprotunity to provide professional learning in literacy for educators.
