Free Clothing for Those Affected by Storms


Hugs and Kisses (XO) Oklahoma has partnered with Infant Crisis Services to provide a pampered shopping experience, free of charge, for women who lost clothing in May due to tornadoes and storms.

XO Oklahoma will set up a “pop-up boutique” Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30 to provide clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty products to business women, educators and moms as they strive to get back to their daily lives. This boutique will be in the Chatenay Square Shopping Plaza located at S.W. 104th and South Pennsylvania, Suite 9, Oklahoma City.

To best accommodate everyone and pamper the shoppers, a schedule of boutique hours is listed below:

Friday,
June 28th 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.: Business Women

Saturday,
June 29th Noon to 4:00 p.m.: Educators and School Employees

Sunday,
June 30th 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.: Moms

Those affected by the May tornadoes can RSVP to xooklahoma@gmail.com and specify which date they would like to visit the boutique. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Donations of school supplies will be taken on Saturday.

Infant Crisis Services will distribute diapers, formula and baby items to the moms with young children on Sunday. To make a contribution to help Infant Crisis Services in its disaster relief efforts, please visit www.infantcrisis.org.

The project began in May of 2013 in response to the tornadoes that caused a vast amount of devastation across the heartland of Oklahoma. It’s mission is simple, Women Helping Women…in order to relieve the stress of working women by providing new or gently used clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty products to help them get back to their daily life.

Infant Crisis Services, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, provides the basic necessities of life to more than 14,000 babies and toddlers in central Oklahoma each year.
