Media Alert: Teacher of the Year Finalists To Be Announced

WHO: State Superintendent Janet Barresi, 2014 Teacher of the Year finalists, superintendents from finalists’ districts, former Teachers of the Year and former finalists
WHAT: The 2014 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year finalists will be introduced and will be available for interviews. Press packets with bios and photos of each of the finalists will be distributed and made available electronically after the news conference. Six state regional committees comprised of teachers and parents each selected two of the 12 finalists.
WHEN: Finalists will be introduced during the general session of the State Department of Education’s Vision 2020 Conference, beginning at 9 a.m. A news conference will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 10.
WHERE: The Cox Convention Center Arena, 1 Myriad Gardens, Oklahoma City
