Director of Advanced Placement at SDE offers a presentation to help bring more familiarity with AVID. AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination - allows teachers to teach rigorous AP/Pre-AP curriculum without leaving behind students.
This presentation (a previously, live-recorded WebEx) is an overview of the AVID program and is a little over an hour long. It is a PowerPoint presentation with audio and occasional discussion from participants and a host.
