Notice of Rulemaking Intent/Public Comment

On October 15, 2014, Notices of Rulemaking Intent (NRI) were published in the Oklahoma Register notifying the public of proposed amendments to four rules in Title 210 for the State Board of Education. Copies of proposed draft rules and Rule Impact Statements are available at http://sde.ok.gov/sde/administrative-rules.
Written comments on the proposed rules will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. on November 21, 2014. Written submissions may be submitted via email to rules@sde.ok.gov during the open public comment period.
A public hearing whereby members of the public may submit oral comments is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 21 2014, at the Hodge Education Building, State Board Room, Room 1-20, 2500 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Persons wishing to speak must sign in at the door of the State Board Room prior to the start of the hearing. Time limitations may be imposed on oral presentations to ensure that all persons who desire to make oral comments will have an opportunity to do so.
