Curriculum and Instruction Regional Professional Learning Workshops

The Oklahoma State Department of Education is excited to announce free professional learning workshops for the 2021-2022 school year hosted by the Office of Curriculum and Instruction. These workshops are being offered in different regions of the state and are designed to support educators with effective instructional strategies aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards. For those unable to attend in-person workshops, a condensed synchronous virtual option is available. This version will be recorded and published for asynchronous viewing.

Click on the date of the event you would like to attend in the chart below to read session descriptions and to register. While space is limited and we encourage signing up quickly, please ensure to cancel any ticket that will go unused as many teachers are hoping to attend these workshops, and we would like to have no empty seats.

Added safety measures are being taken at each location to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Each session has been designed to provide ample spacing for participants, and tables and chairs will be cleaned prior to session start times. Mask wearing will be highly encouraged, and additional measures will be implemented throughout the session to allow participants to feel comfortable while engaging in professional learning activities.

Stay up to date about new workshops by joining the EngageOK Teacher newsletter here. If you have specific questions regarding the workshops, please contact Vickie Hale at Vickie.Hale@sde.ok.gov.
