Dropout Reporting Guidance

Now Open: 2022 Dropout Reporting Window

The Dropout Reporting Window for SY 2021 – 2022 is now available in the Accountability Reporting application in Single Sign-On (SSO). This window is an opportunity to review seventh through twelfth-grade students listed on the Dropout tab in the Accountability Reporting application. Conflict resolutions need to be requested before submitting a Dropout DVR.  If one conflict resolution has been created for a student do not submit a second one.

Schools may submit Data Verification Requests (DVR) for students who did not re-enroll in the fall because they transferred out of state, to a private school, emigrated, exited to homeschooling, obtained their GED, or passed away during the summer/fall. The deadline for submitting DVRs to be reviewed by a member of the Accountability team and resolved for SY 2021-22 dropout reporting is January 20, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. A step-by-step resource is available here to support district users with the Dropout Reporting WindowAfter all conflict resolutions have been requested, please submit only one DVR for a student who is on the dropout list.

Please review the updated instructions on how to complete the Dropout Report. Don't hesitate to contact the OSDE Accountability team at  Accountability@sde.ok.gov, call us at 405-522-5169, or email Reed.Bryant@sde.ok.gov  with Dropout Reporting questions.
