A list of afterschool and out of school time specific conferences that are approved as professional development opportunities for 21st CCLC grantees. This list is not exhaustive and is subject to change. Please always call first to discuss any professional development opportunities not on this list.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister today congratulated Owasso Ram Academy in Owasso Public Schools on receiving a prestigious national award for dropout prevention.
Ram Academy has been named a recipient of this year’s Crystal Star Award of Excellence in Dropout Recovery, Intervention, and Prevention by the National Dropout Prevention Network. It was the only school in the country to receive the award this year.

Oklahoma’s 2015 National Blue Ribbon Schools are: Carnegie Elementary School (Carnegie Public Schools), Flower Mound Elementary School in Lawton (Flower Mound Public Schools), Harding Fine Arts Academy in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma City Public Schools), Schwartz Elementary School in Oklahoma City (Mid-Del Public Schools) and Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences (Tulsa Public Schools).
