A state paid statutory benefit for covering the cost of health insurance over a twelve (12) month period.  If not taking health insurance but qualify, may take the “In Lieu of FBA” benefit as taxable compensation.

In collaboration with the Department of Public Safety, certified endorsed teachers may instruct driver education elective courses through the public school districts.  State revolving fund offers a reimbursement for students who complete and pass a qualified public school driver education course.

Fiscal Year 2013-14 was the last year the Annual Report was produced in this format.  Oklahoma State Department of Education now has the Oklahoma Cost Accounting System (OCAS) & Transparency Reports, which has more detailed information available by district and may be collected by the public in different electronic formats.

ACT Scores Show Increase in Oklahoma Reading Benchmarks

ACT results released today show that more Oklahoma graduating seniors are ready for college and career than in previous years.

According to ACT's 2013 Condition of College and Career Readiness report, the percentage of the state's 2013 graduates who met all four benchmarks in English, reading, science and math rose to 23 percent from 20 percent the previous two years and from 17 percent in 2008. The report is based on the results of the 2013 ACT college entrance exam.
