School Improvement Grant (SIG) Oklahoma State Department of Education School Support

SIG Information

  • SIG is a competitive grant meaning an application must be submitted and approved prior to funding being awarded.
  • The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) applied to the United States Department of Education (USDE) for SIG funding for a fifth cohort in January 2015.

District Improvement

NOTICE: Oklahoma’s Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Waiver was approved on February 9, 2012.  The Oklahoma State Department of Education will not be approving SES providers.  If districts choose to contract with a vendor, it is the district’s responsibility to do so.
