Below are a few steps to help participants get started in with LETRS Cohort 5:
Cohort 5 live training will take place from November 2024 to May 2026. Participants will complete LETRS Volume 1 (Units 1-4) by May 2025, followed by LETRS Volume 2 (Units 5-8) during the 2025-2026 school year. Training sessions are offered virtually via the Zoom platform with a few select sessions available in-person throughout the program
Participants have the flexibility to selct specific dates for their live training sessions. Once registered with Cohort 5 and set up with an online LETRS account, participants will select and register for the unit training sessions that best fit their schedule.
The Oklahoma State Department of Education is excited to offer participants of the Oklahoma Science of Reading Academies a stipend of $600 for the completion of the full program.
To be eligible, participants must have fully completed both volumes of LETRS through the Oklahoma Science of Reading Academies and be currently employed with an Oklahoma public school upon completion. All attendance certificates for training sessions occurring after July 31st, 2024 will now be found on the LETRS platform. You can locate attendance certificates by following these steps:
It is important to note that the email address used in the LETRS platform must be the same email used in every facilitated session for you to receive your certificate of attendance. The email you provide after each of your facilitated training sessions must match the email that is listed on your LETRS account.
