A Moment of Silence and Prayer for Israel

Oklahoma City, Okla – In the wake of the recent terrorist attacks on Israel, we stand united in solemn solidarity. As a symbol of our unwavering support and empathy for those affected by these tragic events, I have asked our schools to observe a moment of silence. This moment reflects our deep sorrow and shared hope for the people of Israel.

Tomorrow, October 12, 2023, all schools are encouraged to have a moment of silence to reflect, meditate, pray, or engage in any other silent activity to show our support for Israel. All Oklahomans stand with Israel, and we stand against the vicious attacks. Israel has been a strong ally of the United States, and we should support the members of the Jewish nation as they are being targeted by extremist Islamic terrorists.
