Heritage Foundation Report Card Ranks Oklahoma Tenth
Oklahoma City, Okla – The Heritage Foundation, whose mission is to formulate and promote public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense, released its yearly Education Freedom Report Card, ranking Oklahoma tenth among the states.
“I am proud that Oklahoma ranks near the top of states in providing educational choice to parents as well as freedom for teachers,” said State Superintendent Ryan Walters. “We have more work to do to ensure Oklahoma schools are among the best in the country and give parents the choices they deserve to make the best decisions for their students, but this is a great step in the right direction.”
