Oklahoma City, Okla – State Superintendent Ryan Walters praised the expansion of Academy of Seminole into Okmulgee, a decision approved by the State Board of Education yesterday.

“This is an incredibly successful rural charter school that continues to position Oklahoma as a leader in education reform and innovation, ” said Walters. “We want students and parents in rural communities to have robust options in education, and through its expansion, this high- quality school is filling that need. This school provides a model for others while making our state more competitive and our students more successful.”
