Praises Turning Point USA Student Organizers

Oklahoma City, Okla – State Superintendent Ryan Walters has issued the following statement praising the organizers of a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event he attended in Stillwater last night:

“What we saw in Stillwater was the end result of years of woke indoctrination in the classroom. Students who should be eager to listen and learn different viewpoints have been radicalized into hostility to American principles and Oklahoma values. Rather than expand their knowledge and engage in a discussion, these young leftists sought to shut down all voices they disagreed with.

On the other hand, the organizers of the event brought light, knowledge, and a sincere desire to share differing viewpoints with their fellow students. They showed hospitality in the fact of anger, and their courage of conviction is a model for every American.”
