The strongest applications will demonstrate evidence of community partnership. National research points to school-community partnership as one of nine key principles for expanding learning to support student re-engagement. Clear documentation of the components of the partnership and alignment of goals, services, data sharing and resources between the schools and community organizations will be an essential part of a successful application and sustainable program. Documentation may include a Memorandum of Understanding, letter of support, or collateral from partner planning opportunities.
