21st Century Community Learning Centers provide extended learning opportunities for students and their families and offers innovative, hands-on activities that reinforce and complement students’ regular academic programs. These before and after school activities are based on research and best practices and include academic enrichment, challenging curriculum, and tutorial services.
21st CCLC programs receive limited funding. As a result, afterschool programs rely on support from partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and volunteers.
