Born and raised in Oklahoma City to immigrant parents, Suzanne comes from a diverse background. While growing up in various places she attended a range of public, private and international schools. Both parents were educators, her mother an art teacher for Oklahoma City Public Schools and her father, a full professor for Oklahoma City University. With a rich heritage in education, Suzanne completed three degrees at the University of Oklahoma, two Bachelors of Science degrees and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. After completing her residency in ambulatory care, she enjoyed teaching as an associate professor and clinical pharmacy specialist at OU. She also created and opened the first pharmacist managed outpatient anticoagulation clinic in Oklahoma at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. In addition to her work life and being passionate about education, Suzanne has been actively involved in the community in various nonprofit organizations including extensive work in leadership, community engagement and outreach. Suzanne and her husband, Robert, reside in Oklahoma City and have three children.
