OKLAHOMA CITY (March 9, 2015) — The Oklahoma State Department of Education recently awarded grants totaling $837,000 to selected Oklahoma schools for Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID). The program allows schools to teach college-readiness courses, helping close the achievement gap by preparing all students for the demands of college and the workplace.
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 6, 2015) – Record attendance is expected at #EdCampOKC on Saturday at Southmoore High School, 2901 S. Santa Fe, in Moore. More than 400 educators are registered, including state Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister.
