The following list of high-quality resources is listed in alphabetical order. Although these are recommended resources for reference, best practice is that schools invest in comprehensive crisis managment training. Specific school safety and crisis management training helps educators, schools, and districts implement prevention strategies, prepare for threat- and hazard-based crises, create comprehensive crisis plans, learn best practice intervention techniques, and provide response and recovery in the most effective way possible. For training opportunities, please contact the Crisis Team or visit the Professional Learning Opportunities page.
