OSDE child nutrition programs seek Summer Food Service sponsors

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 16, 2019) – Sponsoring organizations for the 2019 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) are now being sought by the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) Child Nutrition programs. Eligible sponsors include public or governmental agencies, private, nonprofit residential summer camps and private, non-profit organizations.

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 28, 2022) – The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) announced today that it has published 58 new or updated Oklahoma Family Guides to give families a convenient way to support their children’s classroom learning at home.

Oklahoma public high school juniors can take ACT or SAT free under State Department of Education program

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 10, 2017) – State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister announced today that Oklahoma public school districts will have the opportunity this year to choose whether their 11th-grade students can take the ACT or the SAT college-entrance exam free of charge.

AP Test Fee Assistance Offered to Oklahoma Public School Students

The State Department of Education is offering test fee assistance to Oklahoma public school students who wish to take AP exams.

There are two types of assistance. First, assistance to those in financial need.  Second, assistance to those who take multiple exams.
