Hofmeister celebrates national recognition of Oklahoma’s certification requirements in the ‘science of reading’

OKLAHOMA CITY (August 9, 2018) – The National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) today released Strengthening Reading Instruction through Better Preparation of Elementary and Special Education Teachers, a report that examines all 50 states’ and the District of Columbia’s teacher certification requirements to ensure teacher candidates are prepared in the science of reading.
