Public Notice: Health and P.E. standards open for comment

The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is in the process of updating the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Health and Physical Education.

The draft of these standards is the product of extensive collaboration and research by three committees (Executive, Writing and Drafting) composed of Oklahoma physical education and health teachers, principals, university professors, parents and OSDE representatives. Once approved, the new standards will replace the existing Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) standards, which were published in 2003.
