OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 22, 2015) – A longtime educator from the Oklahoma City metro is the first person hired to a Cabinet-level leadership position in the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) under state Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister.
Supt. Hofmeister today announced Robyn Miller, Ed.D, will oversee policy research and development, as well as teacher quality initiatives. An official title will be determined after a new leadership structure for the OSDE is finalized in February.

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 16, 2015) – Two Oklahoma high school students have been named this year’s state delegates to the prestigious 53rd annual U.S. Senate Youth Program (USSYP).
Mohamed Aly, a junior in the International Baccalaureate program at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, and John Teague, who attends Mount St. Mary Catholic High School in Oklahoma City, will join 102 other delegates from around the country for an exclusive week this spring in Washington D.C.
