Mathematics Past Programs and Initiatives

This page highlights past mathematics programs and initiatives from the Oklahoma State Department of Education.

Math and Science Partnership:

The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) was responsible for administering the Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP) program funded under Title II, Part B of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. OSDE provided competitive grants to improve the content knowledge of mathematics and science teachers to increase the achievement of their students.

For these grants, partnerships between college and university faculty, high-need school districts, and other qualifying partners were invited to propose projects that would design, implement, and evaluate learning experiences for mathematics and science teachers that deepen content knowledge.

Think Through Math:

OSDE partnered with Think Through Math (TTM) to provide opportunities for students to become Algebra ready by 8th grade.
