School Climate Best Practices
Evidence-based practices are assessments, curriculum, instruction, activities, strategies and interventions derived from well-designed, peer-reviewed studies demonstrating effectiveness to meet the needs of students.
Tier 1: Universal Support
School communitites realize the prevelance of trauma and respond through social-emotional behavioral and learning practices that are evidence-based. Prevention practices are positive school supports, build resiliency, promotes positive school climate and actively works to resist retraumatization of all students.
